Mechanical operation : Autodrop is a mechanically operated dropper seatpost enabled by the air tank housed in the downtube.

No batteries required : The dropper seat post is actuated by a cable, while the Autodrop function is powered by pressurized air contained in the downtube air tank.

Pump it up! : The air tank can be filled using a regular track pump. 14 bars allow for around 100 activations of the Autodrop system.

No range anxiety! : Enough to win a World Cup event or day-long trail rides: when the air tank is empty, Autodrop still works like a regular dropper seatpost allowing your body weight to drop.

Advanced Pivot System – the best tool for the job

• Using APS, BMC engineers have access to a versatile suspension system with the ability to design complex kinematics that could not be achieved using weight-driven solutions like flex stays and single-pivot suspension systems.

• APS features a virtual rear suspension pivot trough the rear wheel travel, which is defined by upper and lower link and the resulting 4 pivots.

• APS allows BMC to fine-tune the suspension kinematics to provide an incredibly dynamic suspension behavior across the travel.

The anti-squat tuning featured on Fourstroke decreases along the travel, preventing chain growth when hitting obstacles: this allows the suspension to compress smoothly and track the terrain for perfect traction.
